Cyber bullying is a very common thing even more common than bullying in real life. Why? Simple because you have even less reason to care about the person on the other end. You may never see them again or you may simply block them. What they say holds little to no value to you and it is easy enough to make a very mean joke about almost anything.

I think gender is not really a thing involved in it as you would have to look at far to many numbers to figure that one out.

People will probably always "cyber bully" and anyone who lets it affect them is in my opinion putting to much emphasis on what others think of them. Anyone will sometimes make a snide or nasty remark about something. They may even have a very strong opinion on a topic and go off on whoever is against them on it. The idea of cyber bully is so broad that it is honestly pathetic. Not because people bully others but because with all the tools to avoid it, get around it, and simply get over it people still feel that they are unable to get away from it. I think they have a delusional picture of how life should be and try a little to hard to force that online.

In real life you can't just escape or avoid the people who bother you. You can't block them or ignore them that easily. You are unable to simply move and never hear from them again.

Never said anyone had to. ^^ Simply saying I think too many people value the opinions of others far too much online. Anyone could harass me and online and I would deal with it just fine. I could ignore it but sites even like this have ways of removing people like that from the communities or completely blocking them. I would go so far as to call someone stupid if they felt they could not avoid someone online.

well no I've not had a problem with a cyber bully. But have seen several cases of it .Females tend to do it to other Females cause well they probably feel threatened by the other girl.Or maybe just wants to look cool to everyone and Popularity has been a problem in Schools for a long long time. Boys however I think have it worse, cause well guys are very aggressive ! Lots of tragedies have happened because of cyber bully's . Its really bad . So is just plain bullys at School. which I came across a young girl walking home from school she lives out in the country, she walked because of Bully's on the Bus! I told her to talk to somebody. My daughter informed me that telling on them would just make it worse! So what should they do? Its sad people have to be so mean.Hope this helps you

Why are you yelling? I've experienced it. There are way too many reasons why a person would bully and these days, they don't actually bully. They just get the label since people just think someone having a difference of opinion is being a bully. There's no such thing as being bullied online. There is a such a thing of taking the opportunity to play victim.

People cyberbullying because it is easier to get away with things on the internet unless you put your pic and name up.... I would say it targets both sexes equally... I have never experienced it and wouldn't want to.

I think women get harassed sexually. however, the bullying seems to be more men because men like to rouse each other.
