I"m sorry, but any woman that allows her husband to abuse her and she stays for years is weak. What example are you setting for your children. For you son, you are telling him this is the way he is to act towards his wife when he marries, and telling your daughter that it is ok for a man to treat you this way..So not only is the mother weak, she is raising WEAK CHILDREN. PERIOD.

well said.. only thing is im not following that bullshit trail shes walking in... i GREW UP TO BE SO STRONG.. were opposites n im getting my **** together.. no surrender, no retreat, i will make it, and no turning back

My mother is the strongest woman I know. It would be hard to top the things my mother has had to go through and what she has accomplished.

She married an abusive man. And she put up with a lot from him for years. I'm not sure if it was because of her weakness in defending herself or because her love for him made her weak. Maybe being able to endure was also more about strength.
He died, and she became a hardened and strong individual.
She has an enormous amount of strength. I have much respect for my mom and for all she's been through.

Defo NOT. My mum is amazing, she brought me and my sisters up on her own and she is the strongest woman I know.

She is strong in many ways but she is guilty of letting other people steer her thoughts into dark places and to second guess herself.

Then, like me, it's up to you to lead her to a brighter place daily. It's a lot of work but she's worth it. Besides that, I was a lot of work too.
