Damn headaches! Please help me.

Every morning I wake with a pain in my head, normally left side of my forehead round to the back of my eye. Every morning without fail. now ... some nights like tonight I have a deep kinda like stabbing pain in the back right of my head, and it kinda makes me shiver sometimes.

and I get a pinprick feeling in my temples most days, randomly - they don't last long.
I went to the doc and he said it's stress...I think he's just trying to push it all to the side, I'm getting sick of this!

well... its VERY possible that those things can happen from stress. I've seen it happen before. But its not the only thing it could be. If you don't think its stress and you want to check out another doctor then maybe you should do that.

you're suffering from migrain headaches. trust me, I had those a lot growing up. everything you described is definetely migrains. you need to go to a doctor that can give you some strong medicine for them.
stress headaches wouldn't bother you like a migrain. migrain headaches can be very serious, and can kill !! I almost died from them when I was little. :)

Theres a nasal spray called Zomig, the patent varies from country to country but it's the same thing. 5ml spray container for administering up the nose. It's on prescription only but it's for migraines. Ask your Doc about them after he/she gives you another check up of course.

This what I originally thought it was.. because it can be caused by anything - the way I eat, what I eat, smoke, drink. I'm on a good diet, stopped smoking and don't drink as much anymore. dont know what else to try haha

I sometimes get pain on one side of my head. I looked it up once, and read that it was "cluster headaches" I also read that left handed people get that. I'm a leftie.

It could be a brain tumor, stress, dehydration. Sadly, yours sounds like a brain tumor.

My mum said brain tumor, but I really don't think it is. Neither did the doctor - he totally ruled it out. I don't think it's stress, I get stressed but damn. I'm constantly drinking water, don't even drink coffee or fizz anymore...

He took an image of your brain? You should have included that in your question. It's probably a seizure of some kind then. Depakote is the typical treatment, but it will dull your thinking. We lower seizures by lowering brain activity with meds.
