    Isn't the devil an imaginary entity invented to enable people to deny responsibility for their evil behavior?. How convenient to be able to blame your wickedness on some anthropomorphism, rather than accept responsibility for your actions.

    I think may be the problem is your understanding of God. All religions ultimately talk about the same thing. There is only one God, who represent all the good of the world.
