I would only add that Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld also deserve prison for the rest of their lives....since they had a major part in initiating the war against Iraq,.. a country that had nothing whatsoever to do with the 9/11 attacks..
Out of curiosity , did you support Saddam Hussein staying in power?
Saddan Hussein was cooperating with the UN weapons inspectors when Bush went ahead and attacked Iraq in early 2002......According to Richard Clarke, (Coordinator for National Security and Counter-Terrorism) ..Bush & Cheney decided to invade Iraq back on Sept. 12, 2001, despite the fact that they knew that Iraq had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks, ....Did you support Bush's decision to allow the entire Bin Laden family to fly out of the US back to Saudi Arabia on Sept. 12, 2001? .(The ONLY civilian planes allowed to fly that day)..The FBI sure didn't like that...they wanted to question the Bin Ladens,..........
When Coalition forces had Bin Laden & all the high-ranking Al Queda trapped & surrounded at Tora Bora, Afghanistan, did you support Bush's order for them to "fall back, and go immediately to Iraq"?
(Which allowed Bin Laden & Al Queda to escape to Pakistan).....Do you support the fact that over 4500 American soldiers died in Iraq, plus many hundreds of British forces?.....As far as your question about "supporting Saddam Hussein staying in power"; it's a stupid question, because...a) He had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks...and ..b). It turns out that he "had no weapons of mass destruction" anyway, so he was no threat to the US.
It appears that as far as information regarding the necessity of invading Iraq and Saddam Hussein's involvement you had ?/have? better information than the majority of the United States Senate and the United States Congress Which Voted for A war resolution in late 2002 . Went to war Mar 20 2003 not early 2002.
This is some Clinton administration information re Iraq and Bin Laden, from Nov 6 1998. US GRAND JURY INDICTMENT AGAINST USAMA BIN LADEN.
"Al Qaeda also forged alliances with the National Islamic Front in the Sudan and with the government of Iran and its associated terrorist group Hezballah for the purpose of working together against their perceived common enemies in the West, particularly the United States. In addition, al Qaeda reached an understanding with the government of Iraq that al Qaeda would not work against that government and that on particular projects, specifically including weapons development, al
Qaeda would work cooperatively with the Government of Iraq."
It seems that according to the Clinton administration Saddam Hussein was tied directly to Al Qaeda and Bin Laden. This predates Bush's and Congress' decision to invade by about 4 years.
My question still stands , did you support Saddam Hussein staying in power?
Are you just as concerned about the Sudan? Does you concern extend to the women of Arabic countries?
That's good to know . I'm glad your not one of those who grab onto the latest Hollywood "look at me ...I care" charities so they can get some extra attention types.
You must also be against oppressive government systems if you care that deeply about other peoples ?
