I think Yahweh, the God of Abraham had the Israelites destroy the Canaanites (if im not mistaken). God promised Canaan to Abraham's descendants.

In ancient times it was believed that states went to war to steal gods from other cultures. They felt that by defeating others you gained the power of their gods. Now in monotheistic religions, I know the Hebrews were told to commit genocide on a few occasions. In the Catholic religion, what the Pope decrees is upheld by God so if he declares a holy war then it is justified by God. A jihad is a Muslim holy war where if they kill infidels they are granted a special place in the afterlife with Allah. I get your point that in the purity of the religions they preach peace but the reality is that it is all smoke and mirrors. Sorry

I know that there's a lot of hate in the Bible against other religions. Particularly Judaism and Paganism

You can read thru any religious doctrine and if you want to read between the lines, you can interpret anything.
