Yeah, the anti-consumerism message was pretty blatant. I was pretty intrigued with the violence as sensation-seeking aspect...I suppose in an attempt to feel something in a repressed and anesthetized world.

That's one of my all-time favorite flicks because it made me more aware of how the standards we set for our daily lives ultimately box us in.
