Did I do the math problem correctly? Interest problem.

The credit card that Francesca uses charges her
1.6% per month on her unpaid balance. Find the
finance charge when her unpaid balance for the
month is $1250.

So for 1.6% so you have to convert 1.6 to a decimal. 1.6/100 = 0.016

now we times
0.016 x 1250 x 1 = 20

Is 20 the right answer?

No. USA uses the termj math as part of the expression "Do you math" which is not correct. The term is short for mathematics thus the short term must be maths, plural, not singular. Do the English.
