    No, not during their lifetimes. Pam had inherited Morrison's estate, and when she died, her parents inherited everything. Morrison's parents sued them, so posthumously the Coursons had Pam declared Jim Morrison's common-law wife based on Colorado law (though neither had lived there). Oddly, California accepted this, and the Coursons kept the property. (Wiki)
