To elaborate, a woman's role in viking society was domestic. They did not participate in trade or raids, though they did sometimes partake in exploration. Members of either sex who crossed the gender lines were, at best, ostracized.Like (1)

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) From what l know women were supposed to look after children and cooking, so they did more stuff than fighting. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Trust me, l'm a professional half-Swede.

Norse women were usually busy raising children and keeping the home. Good sensible folks.

Even when allowed, most women were busy bearing and raising children. There is very little record of women going on raiding parties or conquests with the men.Like (1)
