I did not dislike my name, just the fact that I have no middle name. Almost everyone else does. Why am I deprived?

I once wrote my name in the Greek alphabet after some excursion and it looked so much like "Xavier". I was obsessed with the name through primary school.

My names bianca, and I always wanted my name to be claudia. I was supposed to be called claudia but my mum saved that name for my little sister. Oh well

Didnt like my name as a kid. Its not unusual, but a little uncommon in people my age and racial group. I wanted to be 'Melanie' - cos that was the name of the prettiest girl I knew at the time :)

I hated my name as a child. I loved the name Virginia and would have liked to used "Ginny" for my nickname.

I'm fine with my name now, don't really care for "Ginny" anymore.

I didn't like my name because it was the only unusual one in the entire school. Everyone else was like "Sarah" or "John".
I wanted my name to be Alexandra.

Yes my parents must of been on some heavy drugs in the 60's to name something so awful. I always saw myself as a Julia or Sarah.
