Because I enjoy it and I'm good at it. And believe me, I get to hear everyone go, "An English degree? That's useless! What are you going to do, teach?"<br />
Which only goes to show some people never learn...
I actually switched majors mid university to one that paid more. and i fell In love my first semester and never looked back. Now I get to do what I love and make money.
a little of both, and other options and opportunities as well.
I enjoy it, it doesn't actually pay much... Yet.
Because I enjoyed it---which is why I never made much money from it.

Im pursuing a career in Theatre/Film. Ideal job besides acting/cinematography would be teaching drama to kids.
Definitely because I enjoy the field. Teachers are well known to be underpaid for the work they do, but I'd love nothing more.
Well unless I fluke it, I'm gonna be very poor when I finish my degree... so definitely because I enjoy it.
enjoy the field, I could care less about the earnings as long as I do what I love :)
