Did you hate science class and why?

People tend to dislike what they don't do well.

I only liked the parts that I was the most knowledgeable in already. My mom was a nurse so I did best with the parts of the body like bones, muscles, tissues, eye, ear, organs, brain. I did bad with the chemical aspect. I also did not do good with all the steps of miosis and meosis. I barely passed with a c.

I hated biology b/c I had the most boring, monotone teacher EVER. In reality, I am very interested in science, but listening to him 1st thing in the morning put me to sleep.

only chemistry...it's super hard and super boring

I loved organic chem and biopsychology or anything about the brain. Other than that...not a big fan

I really enjoyed high school chemistry.

I've always been good at biology, because I find it terribly interesting to know what makes us tick. Chemistry was a bit harder for me, but I did very well because I had a HUGE crush on my teacher, and I would have been embarrassed to fail.

Chemistry was a bit dull but physics was awesome.

It really depends on the teacher...

In the 1960s / 1970s era before health and safety ours used to do mad things like producing a thermite bomb which shattered a safety screen and brought down the lab ceiling!

That was fun! As was the demonstration of rocket propulsion using a go-kart. Sucking benzene up into a burette and getting a mouthful of what I now knw to be one of the most carcinogenic chemicals available probably wasn't so clever though!

But yes, even as someone who is now studying for an MA is creative writing I enjoyed them... although in fairness I must also admit that my first degree was in physics.

only in high school, coz of the boring teachers...but after graduating from the university...I so love it...I even teach it now....=)

Yes. Only because I was never good at it. My brain didn't work with numbers and that sort of thing. I was more of a history/english person.
