We used to bring my mum her breakfast tray of a cup of hot coffee, cup of hot water, and a sugar bowl to her in bed. That was her breakfast in bed. I still remember how strong the coffee smelt which I couldn't stand as a child, but my mum was so pleased to get her coffee that it was worth it.
At christmas time we always had this table cloth, where ever you sat at the table you would write something about that year...it's great to look back and read all the different memories...some from past family members...we have had the same table cloth for 20 years....
Stay as far away from my sisters as possible , it worked well then as well as now .
