    That just means the parents have all the responsibility to raise a kid to not grow up and be a douche or a tw@t. And that's it how it should be.

    in theory, that sounds terrific. in reality, i trust parents about as much as i trust drivers.

    True, I don't mean the government should stop meddling, but rather the parents should own up to raising their kids to do right and advance our species to the next step in history.

    Sure i started drinking a little wine every Christmas when i was seven.
    BUT there are child abuse laws about that kinda thing that punish parents who give too much alcohol to kids.
