I am a hard line, right wing, Republican ....social conservative as well as fiscal conservative. Even a member of the hated "Tea Party".
And all these "Westboro" folk do is make me want to "facepalm".
They do nobody a favor. Neither America, Republicans, Conservatives, Christians, or anybody at all.

Talk about attention-seeking idiots . . . I think the new mark of being awesome should be to have earned a Westboro Baptist Church protest! It really bothers me that they make their children protest, turning these kids into little hatemongers before they have time to see any alternate ways of looking at the world.

They went all the way to LA? Sweet. I look at it as a badge of honor if they protest me or someone I know. I love the pics. Why the Bible-thumpers think that those puppets do the trick is beyond me. What will they do if I wear a queer fish shirt? They are only forty miles away.
