Did you lose a parent who was relatively young, and how old were they?
And I am sorry for your loss. I feel that death of a loved one is much worse if they were much younger than normal, than if they lived a full life (old age). Also if the death was sudden/unexpected, except I see certain advantages, also. I lost both parents, first Mom at 52, definitely too young, and Dad at 67 years later, which is really slightly old. I want to know other people who lost parent(s) young. Also may I invite you to join my group "I Lost a Parent, Who Was Young" http://www.experienceproject.com/groups/Lost-A-Parent-Who-Was-Young/370212?omni .
