    It is not selfish to love yourself. It is important to love who you are. However, some people love themselves to the extent that their egos are bigger than their heads. Love yourself, but be humble about it. Don't be selfish in that you never consider other people's feelings or try to help when you can.

    loving yourself enables you to accept and love others in a non-possessive way.
