Yeah, kids are deeply affected by where, who, and how they are raised. That is why some grow up to become good and others grow up to become corrupted/evil. If sex offenders, serial killers, and other sick/twisted criminals were properly taught, raised, and shown love by parents/other people, then most or all of them probably would not have the heart and urge to commit unspeakable crimes.

both, there are somethings they inherited from there bio-parents but most behavior is learned. monkey see monkey do kind of thing

I think the influence such as morals, rules, social stuff etch become apart of that child , and to a certin extent so do their attitudes and habits. <br />
But personality and characteristics are from biological parents. But it all depends on the cilds upbringing and influence.
