of course they do, they are against cruelty. Abortion is a clear cut measure to avoid cruelty to that child by the termination of 'bringing Her/Him into a cruel world'

Some do, some don't. Animal activists are against cruelty towards animals, and abortions are carried out before real pain is inflicted. Abortion is mainly a moral issue, where all factors must be taken into consideration, especially the actual possibility for the parents to raise the child.
