Yes they see other dentist,I am a dental assistant and the dr.that I work for he needed a crown and his friend dentist did it for him,they almost got into a fist fight cuz he had to keep going back so he could fix his crown,that was some funny ****!

I am friends with several dentists and they go to other dentists in their practice. They visit the hygienist too.

No I thought about this the other day seriously... I'd say they do themselves... with those metal hooks and whatnot. I'd guess they don't get cavities because they know better.. hmm

I think it would be incredibly difficult using those tools on yourself and trying to do something like a root canal would be impossible. So, they probably go to someone else and feel weird being the patient.
