Do fishes don't have feelings?

They care for their young and some mate for life so yes they do. The brain registers different emotions so anything with a brain has feelings even if it's just anger.

A friend of mine said that his pet fish would not eat unless he petted him. Does that mean they have feelings.

My guess is that, like all living beings, fishes have the ability to feel SENSATIONS; whether they feel EMOTIONS is debatable... I would imagine, though that the Ensouling Factor of a fish might have. Trouble is, souls are difficult for most humans to contact and commune with!

'I know...therefore i am" does not apply to fish. so they don't have emotional feelings. physical feelings? they have a spinal cord, but i don't know if they have pain receptors. they have an instinct for survival.

PLEASE care "MORE" about Peoples' Feelings.
THEY "mean more" Than Fish.

LOL imagine how a depressed fish looks like. Actually, their momory lasts for 1 minute or LESS so I don't think they'll have the time for emotions until they got caught
