Do hippos have tails?

Lol yea, when i was a toddler my mum took me too the zoo. A hippo came up to the fence turned around and started sh!tting, whilst flicking it everywhere with its tail... all over us.. who else can say they have been shat on by a Hippo ?:D

yes they use their tails to paddle the dung to show dominance - usually done by bulls (male hippos).
