Not always. They don't understand that their reactions to things and some of their other problems are a result of their illness, but they will know to an extent that they are not entirely normal. <br />

Your daughter is a wise women. That is EXACTLY what it feels like to me as well. I know that I'm mentally ill and what that means. I just don't know when it's true and when it's not.
