I think it depends on how much you actually believe in it. I had a very strange experience using one with my sister and a friend when we were pretty young....without every detail, dates matched up with ages to the Q's we asked it.

Honestly I wouldn't use it, not in my own home anyway. It's not that it doesn't work- from what I here-, BUT think of it as inviting strangers to your home. You don't know the intentions of the spirits that are helping you.
