They do buy pride blurs their vision
i like to think they do but because humans are so gosh darn good at rationalizing things they refuse to allow themselves to see the truth ... but thats what im for :)
No child is ugly
No such thing as an ugly child
Laura on Little House on the Prairie once said, "All [mothers] think their kids are beautiful." That's true most of the time, because many parents want to see their children (and themselves) in the best light.
Not all parents feel that way, though. Eleanor Roosevelt's mother Anna made it no secret that she thought Eleanor was ugly. It can be hurtful to a child to be constantly told by her own parents that she's ugly, so I think many parents would keep that sentiment to themselves.
Every parent is convinced that they have the best looking child ... because that child has a face only they could love, unconditionally!
ugly parents know that they themselves are ugly and also know if their child resembles them, so yes. but they probably hope their child will encounter peers with tastes different to those tastes which their own peers held.
I don't see how they could not know. I know when their kid is ugly. I can't even compliment it. I might say something like " That is a Healthy looking baby you have there " Yes they know- When my Niece was born she was so ugly, my sister-n-law stayed in her bedroom and wouldn't even take her shopping. She didn't take her out in public until we all made her feel guilty about it.
To be honest I've never met a parent who thought their child was ugly!
Yes but don't expect them to admit to that
Short (but honest) answer: Yes
It is up to their discretion as to how they communicate this information (or withhold it) from their ugly child.
Actually the term ugly -- means that one's physical looks arouse a 'ugh' response from strangers. Hence, the term ug(h)ly.
They lie! 0-0 only thing they ever lie about is how pretty I am.
lol i would think so
