I know girls that wear shirts cut to their bellybutton and shorts halfway up their a**. And guys that wear skintight pants (eww) or sag. Does anyone really find it attractive? To me it's just gross

Someone does, there's something for everyone

Imagination is a great thing for some. That kind of dressment leaves little to the imagination.

The human body is beautiful. Sexuality and confidence are beautiful. The distinction of slutty being bad and modesty being good, and the good-girl/bad girl judgement, is a strong problem with our puritanical culture's view on sex and women's rights. There is a time and a place for that sort of clothing.

This may sound weird, but I'm fine (I don't like it, but it's ok) with it in public that's their decision about what they wanna wear. But in school dressing like a streetwalker isn't appropriate.

You're right, time and place. It's not appropriate dress for school or work. Sadly, many people do it simply for the attention because they don't otherwise feel fulfilled.

Erm...maybe....
I'll admit that I find it attractive on a physical level. Because...I don't know. The whole point of dressing slutty is sex appeal, and, well.

On an actual human being level, I'll say that I sort of stand on middle ground, though leaning more towards being okay with it.
I appreciate sexuality and confidence and being okay with displaying your own body. Because the human body is beautiful and attractive and an amazing thing, and we should be able to show that if we choose to. I like that it pushes social norms and invites questions like these. I like that it leave little and less and yet so much to the imagination. I admire people who are comfortable enough in their own body to do that.

However, I dislike it when people dress that way solely for attention. It's usually pretty easy to tell if the person dresses that way because they think they look and feel good like that, or if they dress that way to receive sexual attention. And that's where I draw the line. I like the confidence associated with that dress. Dressing for attention is not really something done out of confidence.
And, as said, there's a time and place for everything.
