Do people still read Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn ? For your own pleasure or school ? I read them both as a kid.

Sadly, in many of the schools across the country, both books have been banned. :(

I have read them both as a kid and as an adult. I am holding his autobiography in my avatar. He is one of my favorites.

Not those, but I have a complete set of Twain that belonged to my mother and every once in a while I take a volume down and read it. Last was INNOCENTS ABROAD, and before that the two-volume JOAN OF ARC.

me too for the pleasure , when its for school they examine the crap out of it and it makes the reading of it not so pleasurable
