Do stalkers stalk because they hate or is it because they love in a sick way?

Both. And neither.

It's usually a matter of insecurity, jealousy and control. Some people would describe this as "love", but in reality it's entirely self-serving. The inevitable "rejection" of their advances (even an imagined rejection) will lead the stalker to what they consider to be righteous anger.

Real love (and real hate) requires a deeper and more two-sided relationship. Stalking is simply one-sided. It's all about the stalker and what goes on in their own imagination. The recipient of their obsession is simply an object in the relationship, rather than a conscious participant.

Depends on the indfividual stalker. I think most do so because they "love" in a sick way, but there are some who stalk because they hate, also. I have had both kinds.

It's love. A stalker is just so full of love that they want to always be close to you. Or at least your head.

They stalk because they are obsessed which can be considered love in an unhealthy way.

Stalkers are people who become obsessed and lose touch with reality - I don't think they love they are infatuated - I mean you read about them and they've never even spoken to their victims.

sometimes they are just down on their luck and just want someone to use. sociopaths who can't feel and just want to hurt you.
