haha, no it's for the same reason other cultures eat fish eggs, eyeballs, monkey brains, bull's private parts, etc... it's a delicacy...
my definition of a delicacy>> something weird you wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole but can convince others to eat because it's weird and they are gullible lol
