If you enter our galaxy, you're entering every galaxy our galaxy has ever been with. Use space protection. Then it's ok.

Not when the money could be used to care for the disadvantaged here on our planet.

Yeah. I think we need to not have our entire species on one planet.
I also think we ought to be working out how to build a manufacturing base on the moon, so that we can make our intraplanetary travel ships where there's a LOT less cost to get them out of the gravity well.
We could make our ships there, colonize Mars, mine Venus for useable materials and then colonize the outer system.
Either we get off the planet eventually, or sooner or later our species is going to go extinct.
As annoying as we all are, I have hope for my species to surmount this challenge.

Not sure about space travel, but getting materials from space and bringing them back might not be.

Everything that leaves earth is one less thing that will give earth mass. One less item that will be ultimately recycled. (even if it takes so long that it gets sent under the crust eventually) So I guess taking to much stuff away could be harmful. Meteorites do come in often though, even still.

At this point it is morally unacceptable if we don't explore space, since if we keep destroying the earth like this, we will need another planet to live on eventually.

Please don't. I'm guessing it has something to do with some new made-up religious bullcrap.

Why wouldn't it be? I don't mean that as an attack; I'm genuinely curious. I feel like I might know where you're coming from with this, but I don't want to make assumptions. :)

ive got several reasons: first, god put us on earth for a reason (whatever that reason may be). he designed it specifically for us and even died right here on this planet to save us its inhabitants. all other planets are not in any way suited for human life. i believe that space is a place that god created for himself to enjoy personally. for us to go there is equivalent to trespassing. if it was not created for this purpose, why would it need to be as big as it is? god could have put whichever planets that contain life much closer together while still keeping them sufficiently apart so that their gravity does not interfere with their movements. also why would there be uninhabited planets revolving around suns whose heat serves no purpose? there is no reason for them to exist other than for god's enjoyment. and they arent for our own enjoyment, because we obviously cant get to them. were not even anywhere near advanced enough to go to the moon (i believe the whole thing was faked). last, space is, as i believe, a vast, perfect, uncorrupted place. the earth is the only planet that is corrupted by sin (unless the aliens are sinful beings too). so for what reason should we (or the aliens, for that matter) go into space, corrupting this beautiful piece of perfection with our evil nature?

For evil reasons? If we destroy this world we have to go live somewhere else to corrupt mauahahhaha just kidding just kidding But I believe we have a good nature. Just not a perfect one. If we are to stay here we need to make the world a better place somehow.. And I think the moon landing happened. It sounds cool. Btw what about the mars rover landing?
