    I believe that you have to have all those things in a relationship, but if you dont trust them then how can you consider them to be honest? And if you dont trust them you can not treat them with respect or dignity. I believe that trust is a very important key that leads to many other elements of a relationship.

    Without trust, the relation crumbles no matter how much of the other elements there are. It therefore ranks very high up for me.

    Trust is number 1. In order to be any of those things with others, honest and respectful, you have to trust them.

    No, honesty is more important. I'm not going to trust you if you aren't honest, and if you are honest I have no reason not to trust you.
