They are Caucasoid, not Caucasian- pretaining to White skin. They share the same cranial features and anthropomorphic measurements as Whites. DNA or mixing thousands of years ago will have no impact now (Which I am sure was very unlikely on the overall population overall), and has nothing to do with race or phenotype. Use common sense, before posting derogatory comments about Indians.

There are many tribes of "Indians" but they "Originate" from "Asia Descent". Asian are called the "Yellow" people and Idians are called the "Red" people. They are not descentants of "Caucasians".

i think caucasian means like they came from european 'white' people i think but Asian Indians arent white at all some are darker than i am. I say call them Indians and leave it like that cause its easier and they are unique. where are you from?

Good question most are genetically predominately Asian. BUT DNA research shows that many of the eastern tribes were of European origin and that is going to through a monkey wrench into most histories. So some of the tribes were Caucasians and most other Asian and then mixing happened.
