Do we need each other?

Do people need each other? Or should every single one of us have the capacity for self-sufficiency, independent decision- making and life journeying on our own? Is it more fun to be alone? If yes, why?

I wouldn't say it's more fun to be alone. What's life without other people in it? I personally wouldn't find it pleasant to love only myself and do things only for my own good. It makes me happy knowing I can help others, that I can make others happy.
Independence and making your own decisions is definitely a good thing, but being completely alone.. Not something I would ever wish for.

Yes we do need eachother. The first and foremost obvious reason would be procreation. Duh.

Do we need each other? In many situations yes; in some no.

Should every single one of us have the capacity for self-sufficiency? Yes.

Should every single one of us have the capacity for independent decision- making? Of course.

... and life journeying on our own? If you are secure, and like yourself you can enjoy being alone, but not alone forever. Humans are social beings.

We are independent and interdependent.
Each individual is independent to discover his own self and to build his own personality.
All individuals are intrinsically related to the point that a pain occurs to one, it is pain for all. Therefore, in all social relations, each individual must learn how to bring solace to other souls.
Finally, each soul will be independently responsible before God for both his private and public life.
