    It would entirely depend on how the male behaved but I would not have an issue just because of him being male.
    I guess it is because I am in a profession that has me dealing with both men and women in often very personal situations (I am a nurse) that I am willing to at least give someone else the opportunity to prove that they too can behave professionally.

    well im used to serving customers and ive have qualifications in customer service, but the shop only sells woman's clothes so i dont know if applying for the job is a waist of my time

    I suggest you ask if they would hire a male. Or just apply although I hate to fill out applications so much, I'd probably ask first.
