It depends on where you live. I saw a poll on HBO's Real Sex that showed American women prefer the hairless little boy look, whereas women in northern and eastern Europe preferred men that ya know, actually look like adult men.

Really depends on the man, my hubby has chest hair which I find quite sexy and manly but I wouldn't like him with a beard but I love Russell Brand and her has plenty of facial hair, head hair and a gorgeous chest full of hair :)

From what I have gathered its pretty much 50/50 on this.
A lot of girls like hair on the chest a lot don't. Most prefer facial hair I think.

I like chest hair on men. It's very masculine. I wouldn't want my man to shave his chest hair. As for facial hair, I like it, but clean shaven is nice too.
