Friday The 13th is sadder. The first one was sad enough when Jasons mother died but the poor guy gets killed at the end all the nine movies after that.

I did blubber during ET but I made noises of total impatience and rolled my eyes till I had a headache during Titanic.

I did not cry watching either movie. I'm much too manly for that. But I did find ET more enjoyable and effective than Titanic, yes.
