Not really I tend to compartmentalize events thus:<br />
Ask yourself these questions<br />
1- Does it affect me directly<br />
2- Is it a major threat to me<br />
3- Does it require my immediate attention<br />

If the answer is no then dont worry about it, if it affects you directly, is a major threat and needs your attention then deal with it then move on.<br />

Examples of directly affecting you<br />
Someone breaks in and steals something from you<br />
Someone runs into your car<br />
You stuff up at work<br />

Examples of events not affecting you<br />
Your workmate gets pregnant<br />
Your friend or family member gets done for dui<br />
