Do you believe everyone on ep?

I believe what people tell me but some people on here say some crazy things and my friends say that it's lying, one of my friends thinks 3 people on here are the same person. But if they are lying why do they tell me this stuff? I don't get what they want from me. He said to me, 'no offence but if you were suicidal why would you go on ep and ask a 13year old girl for help' I get that but then why do people send me these messages?

well, no i don't believe everybody on EP, but i don't believe everything anybody says, without questioning motive. Why do some men send you messages about suicide and how depressed they are? First, because they read what you post in comments and stories and they see you as vulnerable. Second, you respond to them. These men get perverse sexual thrill from this talk with young girl. They don't want your help, they want to engage with you, get you sympathetic to them, before they try take relationship to another level. So if you don't like, ignore them, if they persist block them.

It's not just men...it's girls too and some are not much older than me. Some of them have been my 'friends' for a while I just don't get why the lies start
