Yes I do. Yes he has answered a number of prayers.

One, I wanted a child. He gave us a gorgous son
Two, I needed a job and a career, he gave me both in one day. A job to pay the bills, an option to go to college free.
Three, I had a question due to confusion over new age religion. He answered it in three days.
He said "Cast out that which is unneccasary and Hold tight to what is good" He then said "Remember always that I AM the FIRST and the LAST, the beginning and the end and your Lord and Saviour." The end.

So yes there is a God and he is a good and loving God.
How do you get a lifeline with God?
Accept Him as your King.
Love Him as you Love yourself.
Never doubt Him, Trust in Him...
Faith is a gift if you want it.

Yes I believe in God. And yes he has always answered my prayers, but most of the time in very unexpected ways. After my husband died I finally learned to listen to God in a way I didn't before, daily prayer has helped me to learn to listen. Daily prayer does not mean just reciting a wish list, but however a true communion with God. Be still and listen and that is how you will hear the answers to your prayers. But also remember it is God's will not yours. What you think is best for you may not be what God has in mind for you. He may have greater plans. May God bless you.

I believe in God in the same way I believe in gravity. It's not a matter of faith as much as a matter of direct experience in every moment. Your question refers to God as "he." This personal pronoun is so common in our culture, yet it conflicts with the fact that God is in all things because it places our conceptualization of God as being outside of ourselves. When your sense of self expands beyond the limits of your physical form you enjoy a sublime connection with all things. And it is from this sense of connectivity that prayers receive their answers. Rather than an outside entity granting our petitions, prayer is the process of eliminating our sense separation from that which we desire. As we experience the unity of all things the answers to our prayers arrive as naturally as something dropped from our hands is pulled to the earth by gravity. And thus our connection with God and answers to prayers are a constant experience. It is up to us to pay attention to it, and your question provides an excellent opportunity to do so.

Hope this helps you,

I belive in God.
God answers the prayers before the sunrise starts.

After applying for many jobs, I asked God to lead me to the best job for me. that was few minutes before sunrise starts. I was reading from the hollybook before it. When the sunrise started I prayed and then went to sleep.. few hours after my asking (4 hours) my husband waked me up telling that he had a call from the prisedent of one of the well known organization in the world are requesting me to come to work at it. It was few meters from my house. It has above average salare, few months later I was the Head of the department.

What you can't do, God can do it, but you should take reasons and then ask for it.

(praying to God in my religion is deffirent than asking God)

I don't believe in a separate and "superior" god, though I do believe in some sort of universal life force/energy/consciousness.

and yes, he answered my prayers to pass my Christianity exam that I didn't study for :/

No. Though I've prayed and got what I wanted. I don't remember. But I'm still not a believer. Does that help make up for all the unanswered prayers?

No. I never have. I have prayed in a sense, but not in a religious way. Only when im stressed or worried about an exam, for example. And, no, he didn't answer them. I did myslef. We shouldn't rely on the leaders of our religions to give us "guidence" and help us out. That's laziness.
So no, i don't believe in god, he never answered my prayers, and they were about desperation. I answered my prayers. Not god. He doesn't exist.

i did at one point... faith was the only reason that i had any self esteem at all... then my beleifes were crushed by my ancient civs techer in grade 10... i have no self esteem so i look serious all the time... and when i say serius i mean -look at a picture of anyone in the military serious- so when im showing no emotion i look sad ... i wish he did exist because i would rather be told something i didnt beleive in and beleive it than feel empty... so basicly i want to beleive but i cant. do you beleive ? because i say if you can beleive in god then go for it it will give you confidence to do anything.

I believe that there has to be some one, when I worked in a nursing home one of patients reached up to the sky right before she passed away. It made me think that maybe there is a possibility that there is a God. I am catholic but quit practicing when my religion teacher murdered her Daughter.

I love my heavenly Father and i trust him. I know he has my best interests and will give me all i need to progress.

He answers my prayers, often i pray for some inner peace to get through and he provides this.

he has blessed me with a safe place to live, food on the table and my cats for company.

I pray everyday and thank him for looking out for me and blessing me in so many ways.

I have found that it's not about always wanting and whining like a child to a parent.

Prayer is a two way street, and gratitude is a big part of it.

The Lord's Prayer, is actually not a prayer in itself, but instructions in how to pray:

*begin by addressing our heavenly Father, and honouring his position
*acknowledge that only his will be done
*ask that your basic needs be met
*ask for forgiveness for slip-ups and agree to forgive those who have offended you
*ask for guidence and protection
*thank him for all your blessings and close in the name of the Son Jesus Christ, our Saviour and redeemer, Amen

Yes I do with all of my being and yes he has answered many of my prayers, he has answered my prayer for a man in my life that believes for healthy children for strength for many many things. But I need to let you know that doesnt mean that I have always received what I ask for even though I ask sometimes God says no.

Yes against all evidence I believe in God. He never answered my prayers growing up- he never rescued me from the abuse I had to endure as a child until I was a late teenager. And even though everything in me says 'why are you trusting such a God'- I STILL trust him. I do not know if I am brainwashed, but the deepest part of me says that even though my life was bad, it would have been a LOT worse without God and he saved me from the worse and is til this day protecting me. Throughout the Old Testament he never saved anyone except in one instance: from Egypt. He never rescued Danial from the Lions' Den, he never rescued the 3 men from the fiery furnance, he never took Jesus down from the cross. Instead he went through the agony with them. Why he works this way is beyond my comprehension, but he seems to. And despite all the pain, I still trust him and I know that one day he will make everything that matters right. And he has given me amazing blessings. He saved my daughter- who could have died at birth. And my family has experienced trials beyond belief that most families are torn apart by- we mad it through every step and my husband and I have been together now for 21 years. Satan has definitely been bad! But God's love has been greater!

Actually I belive in (pantheism?), I believe God is everything. We're a part of God, and the world is a dream he/she's having.

What prayers?
What's all that stuff about prayers and keeping low?
I never pray. Prayers keep you closed and undeveloped.
I meditate. What is very different.

Is there God - Isn't there God?? Well, the truth is in between actually.
There is a Power. But it is not what it is described everywhere.

Yes I believe in Daddy God. He has answered sooo many of my prayers. He is really cool!

The latest prayer answered was..Today, I was having a real big issue with my code..I really did not know what went wrong...from morning I was trying to figure out what the issue was..but I never asked him..then finally I remembered that he can help, so I asked him to give me wisdom to analyse the problem and after some time, I knew exactly what the prob was and how to fix it!! :)

He answers my prayer because he did not answer Jesus on the cross. Daddy God loved us so much that he turned his back when Jesus cried so that he can run to us and answer us when we cry for help. I really love to ask him to help cos he is the only one who is able to do anything cos he is so powerful and also he loves me so I am sure he'll help. Also, I dont need to qualify for him to answer my prayer. Jesus qualified so I get all the blessings!! Its cool!
