Well he was a real person, so it's not really a matter of belief. Do I believe in his teachings? Yes, to a point. Not too fond of his rabid followers though.
I believe He existed, but I'm having a hard time with the idea of human sacrifice these days. If it's all true, I hope the Calvinists are right, cause other wise, I'm a crispy critter.
You and me both.
Yes I most certainly do.
I don't know what to believe when it comes to Jesus. I don't know who Jesus really is. I don't believe in the Bible as a factual historical document. But I like Christmas. I like the feeling of Christmas and hope and joy and harmony. And I am Buddhist by birth. I wonder what Jesus would feel if I told Him I don't believe in Him as they have said or written about Him. Would he care?
I believe that Jesus was a real person and I respect his teachings. That's where it ends.
Haven't seen any evidence outside of the Bible, and other things in it seem to be myths.
Yes I do ,
Because I was born in a Roman Catholic family and was raised
By catholic teachings and moral so I am and always will be a disciple of christ
He may have been a historical figure, but I highly doubt he was divine.
I have faith in my faith but I dont believe Jesus has my back, I'm the only one that can protect that
No. I don't think that any man who is profoundly humane can believe in endless torture. Jesus as presented in the New Testament certainly did.
I believe in Jesus the same as I believe in Santa Clause. They were both men, and lived as men. But that's as far it goes.
No, I don't believe that an all powerful god would make the condition that only through the shedding of blood can there be remission of "sin". I think Jesus is no more than a personification of natural phenomenon. The bible is astrological mixed with a creation story and in my opinion, astrology is superstition, therefore non-sense.
I believe he may have existed as a person but not that he was the son of god
A man named Jesus did exist around the time the Bible describes, and did congregate a small following.
However, he wasn't born to a virgin, he didn't heal the bind, walk on water, turn water into wine (I would've preferred a nice Ale, personally), die for our sins, get sent to hell or resurrect from the dead.
That's all nonsense.
the man .. yes.. the rest of it.. no. because its one more religion that sells hope to the masses.. if you want to be a christian.. start by giving away all of your possessions.. anyway.. Im not going into this deeper.. it just makes me mad.
It doesn't really mean give away all your physical possessions. There is spiritual application to God's word. By "giving up what we own" we (spiritually) give up our old life (our old sinful ways), so that we may gain or "buy" a new life through Jesus.
all of it.. the tax man too :) it wasnt All symbolic.. it is now though.. I need money to go minister to the poor.. give your tithes.
There is a both a physical and spiritual application to scripture. If you only see the physical, you will be missing all the deeper lessons.
yeah and if you ignore the physical youre not doing as you were asked.
The physical is merely a "shadow" of the true message. For example, physical circumcision in no way changes the contents of your heart. But spiritual circumcision "cleans the cup from within"
the message is to show your 'saviour' that you can follow like sheeple.. and this honestly makes me sick all of it.. the sooner they incinerate christians.. the better.
Good luck with that
Ill have more luck with that than you have of reaching heaven.. stop using crutches and fix the world yourself. pathetic scum.. see I did say it makes me mad.. you people make me sick..
Cheers, thank you for your kind words. All the best.
nice turn the other cheek you worthless religious troll :D
You use hate filled remarks, you accuse me of being 'scum', 'worthless' making you 'sick', called me 'pathetic' called my faith a 'crutch' and said you wanted to 'incinerate Christians'. All this for no good reason. Then you happily call me a 'troll'. I think it is obvious who the troll is here. I shouldn't have insulted you, but I'm not perfect either.
actually this is what Id like to see.. a troll uses comment to misdirect for fun.. Im quite serious. I hate christians. period. I t Would be a better world without them. But NOW.. now I see you cant drop it.. its like youre and OCD religious troll .. and in jail we call that back-peddling.. you were being honest.. for a change.. and abuse me all you like.. I know that book as well as you do and am happy to use it against you as yours use it against others. :) now.. leave me alone until I can hear your people burn. :)
You are a vile twisted human being.
no.. I wish their were more lion feeding events at the zoo :) oh itd be like marshmallows :D silly christian.. will you not learn from your mistakes and move on?
ı believe ... ı am a muslım
I accept he may have existed.
Jesus plays no role in my religion.
no , way to much evidence against God than for God
Yes, but believing in Jesus means different things to different people.
That someone whose name was translated into Greek as "Jesus" existed and preached in The Holy Land, yes
