Believe it or not, the theory of parallel universes and multiple dimensions is pretty excepted by physicists. I believe in them, do you?

Mankind = flawed :. mankind's mathematics = flawed and mankinds logic = flawed. (isnt that logical? xD) Think what you will, we all could be right or wrong, can never prove it in this life.

A parallel universe? Is that one of those places where you parallel park? I don't believe in those at all - they are just a ploy by space aliens to implant chips in our heads so they cn control us and take over the world.

They are a mathematical certainty. But, I don't believe in them because, thier existence defies logic.

I believe in them about as much as I believe in God. If there are parallel universes, why can't we see them? And if we can't see them, how do we know they exist?

I am big fan of Michio Kaku, and I accept the ideas behind parallel universes; and such ideas can fuel my imagination. But the same ideas tend to defy humanity's conventional understanding, that they could be out of the realm of understanding to most people.

I'm not sure I believe, but it is intriguing! NOVA's epidode on string theory and parallel universes is very convincing and interesting. As for defying logic, so does the universe itself, really.

I have a recurring dream where there is a parallel road next to the road I lived on as a kid. It's been so real I've driven out there and was surprised that there was no road there.

Only in one dream was I on that road, all other times I've been on the real road.

No, I don't believe in a parallel universe right now. Maybe later though.

Parallel universes answers many questions. One is where are ideas come from. Another is when a friend who has died seem to talk to me. When I recognize them there is a sense of peace. Also, I can leave my body. There is much more going on then we realize.

Humm... I do and I dont.. lol.. I know that makes no sense at all but, as most people here have already said, it defys logic.. lol. but I have to say that just because we can not see or touch something does not mean its not there or could not exist. Who knows??? its one of those questions we might never know the truth of...

Parallel universes... hmmm. Its a great idea, and I don't see anything logical getting in the way of it. I mean, after all, we humans have a very limited and specialised set of sense organs, well attuned to the 3-D physical universe, but sensitive to really very little of what's out there. Think of the electromagnetic spectrum, which contains radiation from Extra Long Wave radio, through radio waves, through microwaves, light of various colours, X-rays, gamma rays, cosmic rays. We can only detect the light portion with our physical senses. there could be heaps and heaps in existance that we can't detect - unless we get free somehow of our physical limitations. We do a certain amount of that with machinery. People who specialise in "altered states of consciousness" say they can access other regions as well.
I won't be at all surprised if its true.

I don't know. It would be neat if they did exist.

I do and I believe that this universe is paralleled with a few other universes. This is why there is such a thing as Karma and reincarnation. Parallel universes always encounter with our universe which causes weird things to happen here on earth.

Parallel universes exist. We are moving through them constantly. You "can't" see them because they are part of the accepted and normal background that is reality. You can't see air, but you can see it's effects. You can't see parallel universes, buy you can measure their effects.
