yes. I believe that man is a spirit, has a soul, and lives in a body. when the physical body dies, the rest of our being doesn't.

I believe this is life and your conscious thought is a part of the being you are in life. I don't believe an entity or a "soul" escapes or abandons the body upon death. I think immortality is a human desire because the idea of death being final is difficult to accept.
