I don't. Mainly from personal experiences. If you see the person in real life, then there is a possibility. The jealousy factor of being apart and not being able to trust the other person will come up...if it does, that's the end of it. It you are confident in your trusting abilities, or open to the concept of open relationships, then I'm sure there is a chance it could last....Keep in mind, this is just my personal opinion.

My brother just got engaged to a girl he met offline and they seem happy so far. They are having difficulties with the religion factor though :o so we will see how that pans out.

Never thought so before, until I have met some success stories. I always thought it was crazy. Never experienced it, but I'm open. It's important though that the communication is quite strong, or there is just no chance.

They can but only if they graduate to an in-person commitment.

It is hard enough to keep an average relationship working any amount of distance from a person you care about can start to make a relationship complicated. So I would say no unless you plan on keeping it strictly pen palish.

That is very true. It's difficult to even trust someone who lives in the same home as you let alone a person that lives 3,000 miles away doing God knows what!

Exactly. I know alot of people attempt to do it and those that I know end up really hurt. Who knows though it could happen.

No, a lot of people are too immature and selfish in my experience. That is why I don't like cybering...

It's so hard in this generation, it's as if you have to grow up in a household with no electronics in order to not get involved in cybering.. *sigh* haha
