    Who is taking the picture and for what purpose?

    If it's work-related, not sure why you would mind.

    If it's just co-workers taking pictures .. you can just tell them you don't want your picture taken .. they don't have to ask.

    Good question! I think one should ask for permission to take the photo and it also depends on what the photo is for. Someone could be in hiding from an an ex-abusive partner or is taking precautions from someone stalking them and so on.

    It's called PII. Just like SSAN, or phone number, or address....... Unless there is job related requirements for like an id badge or something.
