I don't know but I associate certain names with certain kinds of personality. I mean I have two kids Mika and Hanna they are great kids, a bit wild sometimes, fights as siblings do, not always to what they are told and so on.. simply they are normal kids however if I instead call them by their other given names Lars and Linnéa I suddenly feel like I'm talking about The Delightful Children From Down the Lane from Codename: Kids Next Door

Sure ... Love names and researching their meanings and I have noticed, without fail, that the names people are called by they actually are and become. The individual is not only named but called ... throughout the life. I know of two parents who changed the names of their children when the found out the meanings and with that changed came a change in conduct as well.

I personally think they do and affect your personalities some how .. I saw a name of a child which includes *Danger* .. the poor child was in danger in his earlier childhood.. don't know about the rest coz he is still a toddler ... may be its just superficial ..

I believe that. Especially considering how cruel the average person/kid can be making fun of someone. Don't give a kid a name that rhymes with *******, don't name him ******, don't name her cumsucker.... Ya, I think that sort of negative attention profoundly affects and has effects on personality and emotions for the person's entire life.

Ok, does your mother regularly take a mouthful of your neck and haul you off to bed each night? Your question should be answered :)

It seems like it would, but I don't have or know of any evidence to support that hypothesis.
