Yes I do believe some people will burn in hell forever. It makes me chuckle when I think about those terrorists who flew the planes into the towers and the pentagon on 9-11. I am sure they are waiting for the eternal flames to die out so they can get to their virgins but in their case I don't think the flames will ever extinguish.

No, the word comes from Norse Mythology and Hel there is a goddess and a cold place. Christians mixed it all up (with Gehenna and Hades etc) and confused everyone.

It's their choice God gives everyone an equal chance for eternal life some take it and some don't tell God that He is almighty and that you want to he saved that you believe He sent Jesus Christ our savior to save us and die for us so we could have eternal life. You ask for forgiveness when you sin. And you live your life pursuing God and His plan for you!
