I don't obsess over calories, but I did watch my calorie intake to lose 20 lbs this past summer. Very easy, just made sure what I ate for the day didn't exceed 1600 calories all together, and exercised weekly. And ate right.
Carbs and refined sugar kick my butt and add to it as well...
I only track carbs because I'm on insulin.
