Do you enjoy posting your gibberish, pointless dreams here?

I had a dream someone was trying to make home-made salt. Will someone tell me if it was insightful? Is there some deeper meaning to the mindless drivel that is my dream?

I don't have a problem with people posting their dreams, as long as they don't have a problem with me finding it stupid.

gibberish mode on:
Home-made salt signifies independence, like with most home made products. Salt used to be currency in ancient times. Making money at home is therefore forgery.
Conclusion: you possibly know who is printing money in their basement, so you better inform the police.
gibberish mode off

Now on to your question. No, I don't enjoy it. I posted one once to see what is being said about it. Nothing. So I find posting them actually more pointless than the dreams I'm having. They provided more fun.

How sad that you think that the one way that the huge thing that is your mind can only function in a conscious mode. Since we are fully conscious so rarely during a day--take a drive and forget how you got there--unconscious. When you introduce your girlfriend and accidently say this is my mother--that is your unconscious treading into life. When you sleep, about every three hours as you fall from stage one to REM, you just snooze. But the twenty or so minutes of REM that you hit every night is where you lay down long term memory and where you heal if you have an injury. Also, where thoughts that you maintain deeply emerge in the way of symbols. Not weird--Cognitive Psychology. And if you did dream about salt there are a couple of interpretations--very religious, could be Lot's wife and you feel frozen, stuck. Not religious--then your life feels bland and tasteless. And if you just made that up, you probably have a REM sleep disorder and don't reach significant stage four sleep. You can tell because a cut on you won't heal as fast as one on a regular REM sleeper. Not weird just science. You should try it.

i like postig my dreams, i dont care if you think they are stupid, i find mine stupid too. I dont think your dream means anything, some dream is better than no dream. A dream usually means youve reached a good sleeping point. thats how i see it. (I do believe dreams have meanings.) but sometimes its just your subconcous mind throwing stuff around to entertain the resting mind.

Perhaps they have to return to their dreams to avoid censorship. Then we will loose scores of friends who love chatting about dreams.

i agree, Konrad! i always ignore dream questions. most of the time they are nothing more than gibberish. the few times we have dreams that seem real are the exception, not the rule.

I'm beginning to see a pattern on EP, a growing sense of a sort of conformity and that's probably why only mostly newbies post anything about their dreams. Anyone who's been on here for more than a week would know they risk being attacked, lampooned or otherwise if they dare to ask a question about a dream they've had. In my book there's nothing wrong with this sort of curiosity - what a dream might mean. You don't have to believe that dreams have a meaning just to wonder.

If nothing else, for some people their dreams have meaning...
