Do you ever get the feeling that we the public are Public Enemy Number One?

Whatever Government,in Whatever Country, We are

Public Enemy Number 1!

Too bad they forget WHO voted them in can vote them OUT!!

Yes, our government seems to be about prioritizing profits and socializing debts.

More important than who voted them in is the state of social relations between our people. Where there is great division there is great corruption and malevolent greed. Until there is greater common ground and unity of purpose among our people, we will always get the government that we deserve.

Social relationships create the foundation upon rests political reality and politics creates the context that economics operate under. Our indifference toward one another and narrow preoccupation with our own narrow interests weakens our ability to effectively interact politically for the greater good.

Yet, as Abe said, "you can fool some of the people all the time. You can fool all the people some of the time. But you can't fool all the people all the time." A change is gonna come. The question is, will we be ready for it.

The public is the biggest danger to itself? I suppose, it just sounds kind of redundant. People will always be the biggest danger to themselves in general.
